Treads & stair rises
Treads and stair rises are squared (rectangular) Karystos slates cut in the appropriate dimensions, depending on the needs of the project, for stair lining. For their production, large pieces must be sorted.
The thickness of the step is usually 3cm – 4cm. It can be produced in any other size requested.
Its fid can be machine shaped (oval in shape), or in hand ‘’hit’’ or chipped.
The stair riser (throw) is the same length as the step, its thickness is 2cm and its width is usually 15cm.
Their colors are: green, grey and green-brown.
